How do I change the scrolling speed?
While the script scrolls, tap − or + to change the speed in words per minute. You can also set it in the prompter settings, from 40 to 250 words per minute. The app remembers the speed you used last.
How do I pause the script?
Tap the text. Tap it again to carry on. Pausing the script doesn’t stop the recording.
Where should I look while I read?
The script scrolls in a small box right under the front camera, so when you read it your eyes are almost on the lens. Keep the phone at eye level, about an arm’s length away.
The camera or microphone doesn’t work.
PrompterMint needs permission to use them. Open iPhone Settings > PrompterMint and turn on Camera and Microphone, then open the app again.
My video wasn’t saved to Photos.
Check that PrompterMint may add to your Photos: iPhone Settings > PrompterMint > Photos. If your iPhone is full, free some space. The app keeps the video until it’s saved, so you can tap Try again.
Why did my recording stop at 60 seconds?
On the free plan, recordings can be up to 60 seconds. The clip is still saved to your Photos. Pro removes the limit.
How do I restore Pro on a new iPhone?
Sign in with the same Apple ID, open PrompterMint, go to Settings and tap Restore purchases.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open iPhone Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, choose PrompterMint and tap Cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period or free trial ends so you aren’t charged again. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel it.
Can I get a refund?
Apple handles all payments and refunds. Ask at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Do I need an account? Where are my scripts?
No account needed. Your scripts are saved only on your iPhone, and we never see them. Videos you save go straight to your Photos app. Your scripts are included in your iPhone’s backup, so they come back if you restore a backup onto a new iPhone. If you delete the app, its scripts are deleted too and we can’t recover them, so keep copies of important ones.
How do I leave the waitlist?
Use the unsubscribe link in any email from us, or email support@promptermint.com and we’ll remove you.
